Socket Auto Inspection Machine

SAM is developed to detect any anomalies on Test Socket used by Test Handlers in semiconductor industry. Most of the defects are only detected at End of Line (E.O.L.) Package Inspection System. There is no preventative measures to inspect the condition of existing Test Socket before being installed onto the Test Machine.

Interstella SAM features as a high resolution 20MB low distortion dual lens camera with different illumination options to ensure high quality and effective detection. SAM will be a value added system for maintenance team as user is able to utilize SAM to derive an effective and accurate preventive maintenance control system with condition based methodology.

• Customized feature includes ability to inspect anomalies on socket nest edges with color coding data.
